The Strategic Implications of China’s State Capitalism
The Biden Administration has launched the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework to align with like-minded economies on supply chains, clean energy, new technologies and other issues where China presents a challenge to transatlantic values and interests. These efforts are taking place as Germany and the EU are seeking to reduce dependence on China in strategic sectors and step up cooperation with the United States and other important partners.
This webinar will feature several China policy experts from the United States and Europe who will share their views on the challenges of China’s state capitalism at a time of global crisis and assess U.S. and European efforts to coordinate their responses.
