Jackson J. Block is a trailblazing venture capitalist, investor, and the CEO of LGBT+ VC, a non-profit investing in the power and limitless potential of LGBTQ+ and ally communities. Under his leadership, LGBT+ VC fosters economic prosperity through strategic support, mentorship, and leadership opportunities for modern investors. Twice named a PitchBook’s “Investor to Know” and honored on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, Jackson has been featured in Nasdaq, TechCrunch, and Barron’s. His bold vision has educated and activated thousands of LGBTQ+ investors, transforming access to capital and reshaping tech innovation. In 2023, he spoke at the White House’s inaugural Pride VC Roundtable, affirming his role as a national voice for LGBTQ+ economic empowerment. Jackson teaches venture capital at the Colin Powell School at City College of New York and advises global entrepreneurship initiatives including Schmidt Futures’ Refugee Entrepreneurship Program. He serves on the advisory boards of OutVote, the CUNY LGBTQ Council, and several LGBTQ-led technology ventures.
