Dr. Röttgen on a Strong Transatlantic Response to Russia

As the U.S. and Germany discuss aid to Ukraine and sanctions on Russia, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Bundestag Dr. Norbert Röttgen makes it clear that a strong transatlantic position on Russia is crucial to regional stability and confidence in international law and order. Sitting down with AGI Foreign and Domestic Policy Director Dr. Gale Mattox, Dr. Röttgen emphasized that, although it appears that this situation is a result of reactionary decision-making, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s abandonment of international norms of cooperation and dispute resolution is intolerable.
