Anabel González has been Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization since June 2021. She is a renowned global expert on trade, investment, and economic development. She has previously served as Minister of Trade of Costa Rica, Senior Director of the World Bank’s Trade and Competitiveness Global Practice, and Director of the WTO Agriculture Division.
