United Germany At 25

Marking the 25th anniversary of German unity, Ambassador John Emerson joins AGI President Dr. Jackson Janes to discuss a unified Germany’s new role in Europe and the world. The ambassador highlights Germany’s increasing willingness to lead in international affairs and stresses the need for the post-unity generation in Germany and the U.S. to strengthen German-U.S. relations based on common values and shared goals in an increasingly complex world.
