On October 6, 2015, AGI hosted Ambassador John Emerson, the new American Ambassador to Germany, for a roundtable discussion. Moderated by Dr. Jackson Janes, President of AGI, the discussion focused on major current events, including the refugee crisis, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), Afghanistan, Russia and the Ukraine crisis, the Volkswagen Scandal, the 25th anniversary of German Unification, and transatlantic relations in general.
