Ouassima Laabich studied Politics of the Near and Middle East and Peace and Conflict Studies at the Philipps-University in Marburg and Arabic in Amman, Jordan. This year, she will continue with the Public Policy Master’s Program at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. Ouassima is a board member of the Muslim Youth in Germany (MJD e.V.) and responsible for community involvement, empowerment strategies, and advocacy programs. She is also a scholarship holder of the Avicenna-Studienwerk e.V.
She is a 2017-2018 participant in AGI’s “Transatlantic Exchange Program for Young Minorities,” sponsored by the Transatlantic Program of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through Funds of the European Recovery Program (ERP) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
