Nandita Suri

Halle Foundation/AGI Intern

Nandita Suri is a fall 2024 Halle Foundation research intern at the AGI. She is from Atlanta, Georgia, where she is pursuing bachelor’s degrees in Global Studies and German. Her research interests include cultural integration, European ethnic minority groups, multicultural German identities, and the sociological impact of German rap.

Nandita is an alumna of the Congress-Bundestag Vocational Youth Exchange (CBYX Vocational) scholarship program. During her time in Germany, she interned at various levels of the German government, as well as in federal institutions and organizations in the private sector. Nandita also studied Russian Language and Moldovan Culture as a recipient of the U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship. Prior to joining AGI, Nandita worked at the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta as a programming intern. She is on the organizing committee of the German-American Conference at Harvard Kennedy School and is passionate about facilitating meaningful conversations to promote transatlantic understanding.
