Hannah Ott

Hannah Ott consults migrants, employers and volunteers regarding the options for evaluation and formal confirmation of equivalence of foreign professional qualifications within the German system. She has been focusing on improving the legal and practical circumstances for applicants, in particular by furthering networks between relevant stakeholders and liaising with relevant authorities. Recently, she has been developing new standards for the use of language in consultations.

In addition, Hannah Ott is responsible for researching the integration of a foreign skilled labor force globally. She works together with international organizations and authorities, building networks with relevant projects and stakeholders worldwide as well as participating in and organizing events at the regional, national, and global level. The goal is to disseminate information at the national level and adapt innovative practices from other countries to the German socioeconomic conditions, striving for a fast and smooth labor market integration of migrants suited to their qualifications.

Hannah Ott has a background in political science, sociology, economics, and international law. She has been studying, researching, and working in the fields of migration and integration in different European, Asian, and African countries. She holds a French and a German bachelor’s degree as well as a South African and a German master’s degree in Global Studies.
