Deutsche Bank Appoints Jacques Brand CEO of North America

AGI is pleased to announce that Chairman of the Board Jacques Brand has been appointed CEO of North America for Deutsche Bank. Mr. Brand will also be joining the Group Executive Committee.

Jacques, who joined Deutsche Bank in 1999 in New York, has a track-record of outstanding results and most recently was the Global Head of Investment Banking Coverage & Advisory in the Corporate Banking & Securities division. Under his leadership, Deutsche Bank’s corporate finance market share in the United States increased by 75% since 2008. He succeeds Seth Waugh who, as announced in February, is stepping-down after more than a decade as CEO of the Americas.

Jacques Brand is also a board member of The Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation and The Jewish Museum in New York.
